Welcome to UAsite15 (the “Platform”). Before accessing, browsing, or using any content, features, or services provided by this Platform, please carefully read and fully understand this User Agreement (the “Agreement”).

By accessing or using this Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms and conditions set forth herein.

Article I – Nature and Purpose of the Platform

1. Platform Status
   UAsite15 is a non-commercial, student-led educational and academic experimental platform, created and maintained by students and student teams. Its purposes include, but are not limited to:
   
   

   • Showcasing student research, writing, and analytical work;
     
     

   • Providing educational simulations, learning tools, and academic demonstrations;
     
     

   • Exploring experimental forms of education, scholarship, and digital academic products.
     
     

2. Non-Affiliation Statement
   This Platform:
   
   

   • Is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any university, college, government body, or official admissions authority;
     
     

   • Does not represent, certify, or act as an agent of any educational institution;
     
     

   • Possesses no legal authority to grant degrees, credentials, admissions, or official qualifications.
     
     

3. Non-Commercial Use
   Unless expressly stated otherwise:
   
   

   • The Platform is not operated for profit;
     
     

   • It does not provide paid consulting, guaranteed outcomes, or intermediary services;
     
     

   • All content is intended solely for educational, research, demonstrative, and informational purposes.
     
     

Article II – Scope of Services

1. The Platform may include, but is not limited to:
   
   

   • Academic writing, research, and presentation materials;
     
     

   • Educational simulators, scoring systems, and visualization tools;
     
     

   • User-generated content (UGC) or project showcase pages;

   • Make no guarantees regarding continuity, stability, accuracy, or availability of services.
     
     

Article III – Disclaimers (Important)

3.1 Educational and Informational Disclaimer

1. All content provided on this Platform:
   
   

   • Does not constitute academic, legal, financial, medical, or professional advice of any kind;
     
     

   • Should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any formal decision, application, or judgment.
     
     

2. All examples, simulations, scores, and analytical outputs:
   
   

   • Are provided strictly for demonstration or educational purposes;
     
     

   • Carry no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or real-world applicability.
     
     

3.2 Admissions and Outcomes Disclaimer

1. The Platform does not guarantee, promise, or imply:
   
   

   • Admission to any university or academic program;
     
     

   • Improvement of application success rates;
     
     

   • Any form of endorsement, recommendation, or preferential treatment.
     
     

2. Any decisions, actions, or outcomes arising from the use of Platform content are undertaken entirely at the user’s own risk.
   
   

3.3 Technical Disclaimer

1. The Platform shall not be held responsible for:
   
   

   • Data loss, system interruptions, or computational errors;
     
     

   • Failures of third-party services;

2. The Platform makes no warranties that:

Article IV – User Conduct

Users shall not, while using the Platform:

1. Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or public order;
   
   

2. Upload, distribute, or publish content that is:
   
   

   • False, misleading, or deceptive;
     
     

   • Infringing upon intellectual property or other rights;
     
     

   • Discriminatory, hateful, violent, or unlawful;
     
     

3. Without authorization:
   
   

   • Scrape, copy, mirror, or mass-download Platform content;
     
     

   • Reverse-engineer, disrupt, or attack Platform systems;
     
     

4. Impersonate others or misrepresent identity.
   
   

The Platform reserves the right to remove content, restrict access, or terminate usage without prior notice in cases of violation.

Article V – Intellectual Property and Copyright

5.1 Platform-Owned Content

1. Unless otherwise stated, all rights, titles, and interests in the following are owned by UAsite15 or the original authors:
   
   

   • Website architecture and design;
     
     

   • Original text, analyses, papers, and explanatory materials;
     
     

   • Original code, algorithms, scoring logic, and models;
     
     

   • Images, logos, UI/UX designs, and branding elements.
     
     

2. Without explicit written permission, no individual or entity may:
   
   

   • Copy, reproduce, modify, redistribute, or commercialize such content;
     
     

   • Use such content for training commercial models;
     
     

   • Incorporate such content into paid products or services.
     
     

5.2 User-Generated Content (UGC)

1. Users retain original copyright ownership of content they submit.
   
   

2. By submitting content, users grant the Platform a:
   
   

   • Worldwide;
     
     

   • Royalty-free;
     
     

   • Non-exclusive license
     to use such content for display, archiving, promotion, and functional operation of the Platform.
     
     

3. Users represent and warrant that submitted content:
   
   

   • Does not infringe third-party rights;
     
     

   • Complies with applicable laws.
     Any disputes arising from user content shall be the sole responsibility of the user.
     
     

5.3 Third-Party Content

Where third-party content is referenced or linked:

• All rights remain with the original rights holders;
  
  

• The Platform assumes no responsibility for accuracy, legality, or availability.
  
  

Article VI – Trademarks and Naming Rights

1. UAsite15, its name, logos, identifiers, and sub-project names:
   
   

   • Serve as distinguishing identifiers of the Platform;
     
     

   • Are protected under applicable law even if not formally registered as trademarks.
     
     

2. No party may, without permission:
   
   

   • Use identical or confusingly similar names;
     
     

   • Imply any official affiliation or endorsement.
     
     

Article VII – Privacy and Data (Summary)

1. The Platform may collect limited technical data (e.g., access logs) solely for:
   
   

   • System maintenance;
     
     

   • User experience improvement.
     
     

2. The Platform does not knowingly sell user data.
   
   

3. Users should not submit sensitive personal information.

Article VIII – Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

1. The Platform and its operators shall not be liable for:
   
   

   • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
     
     

   • Academic, admissions, or career outcomes;
     
     

   • Actions or content of third parties.
     
     

2. This limitation applies even if the Platform has been advised of potential damages.
   
   

Article IX – Modification and Termination

1. The Platform reserves the right to amend this Agreement at any time;
   
   

2. Revised terms become effective upon publication;
   
   

3. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement;
   
   

4. Users may discontinue use at any time.
   
   

Article X – Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

1. This Agreement shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the Platform’s operator, insofar as legally permissible;
   
   

2. Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation;
   
   

3. Unresolved disputes shall be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction.
   
   

Article XI – Miscellaneous

1. If any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect;
